Communication Towers

5G rollout programs are demanding faster tower deployment, heavier antenna loading capacity, and tighter dimensional tolerances than 4G infrastructure ever required. Winture manufactures self-supporting lattice towers and rooftop frames for telecoms carriers, tower companies, and EPC contractors — from 15m rural greenfield sites to 3–15m urban rooftop installations where architectural integration and roof load limits are critical constraints.

All towers are pre-assembled in our factory yard for fit verification before hot-dip galvanizing, shipped as pre-sorted bundle sets keyed to the installation sequence, and carry a 30-year anti-corrosion warranty with a 50-year structural design life. In-house CNC angle steel fabrication lines, two dedicated galvanizing pools using 99.999% pure zinc ingots, and a full IQC-to-OQC quality system ensure consistent structural reliability across high-volume tower programs.

Specialized Tower Types

Lightning Protection Tower

Self-supporting or guyed lattice structures engineered specifically for lightning rod or conductor support. Used in substations, refineries, chemical plants, and large industrial facilities where lightning risk to process equipment requires dedicated protection infrastructure. Structural design accounts for static tip load of the lightning rod system plus wind load on the full height. Heights typically 10m to 30m on concrete pedestal foundations.

Forest & Environmental Monitoring Tower

Lattice towers designed to support sensor packages, cameras, and communication equipment for forest fire detection, wildlife monitoring, air quality measurement, and hydrological sensing. Multi-level platforms are integrated for sensor mounting at different heights. Climbing protection systems (safety cages or fall arrest rails) are standard. Foundation type selected to match remote site access constraints — typically drilled pile or screw pile for forest environments.

Observation Tower

Structural steel towers with enclosed or open observation decks, designed for border surveillance, traffic monitoring, or tourist observation platforms. Platform decks are engineered for human occupancy loads (≥4 kN/m²) with perimeter safety railings to local building code requirements. Heights 15m to 50m.

Meteorological & Broadcasting Radar Tower

Precision-fabricated lattice mast structures for weather radar, TV/radio broadcast antennas, and navigation aids. Antenna interface dimensions and platform levelness are fabricated to tight tolerances to meet equipment supplier specifications. Vibration frequency characteristics are verified at design stage to avoid resonance with rotating radar equipment.

Communication Towers

Greenfield Communication Tower (Ground-Based Tower)

Greenfield towers are ground-mounted lattice steel structures designed for open terrain — rural areas, village outskirts, mountain ridges, and industrial sites — where land is available and signal reach is the primary design objective. They provide optimal antenna elevation and sectorization for 4G/5G mobile networks, broadcast relay, point-to-point microwave links, and multi-operator base station sharing.

Structural characteristics:

Angle steel lattice or steel tube lattice construction

Flexible height: 15m to 60m, or customized to project requirement

Foundation: concrete isolated pad or drilled pile foundation to match soil bearing capacity

Strong multi-load bearing capacity: simultaneous mounting of multiple antennas, RRUs, feeder cables, and maintenance platforms

Hot-dip galvanized to ≥90μm per ISO 1461; 30-year anti-corrosion warranty; applicable for coastal (C5-M) and industrial (C4) environments

Wind-load rated: designed to local ASCE 7 / TIA-222 / EN 1991-1-4 or national standard wind speed zones

Key advantages:

Wide coverage radius — unobstructed signal propagation at elevation

Scalable design: future antenna additions and load upgrades accommodated in initial structural design

50-year structural design life — long service life reduces tower replacement frequency

Suitable for high-load, multi-operator shared base stations: reduces per-operator infrastructure cost

Communication Towers

Rooftop Communication Tower (Roof-Mounted Tower)

Rooftop towers are designed for urban environments where land acquisition is impractical or prohibited and rooftop real estate is the available deployment option. They extend antenna elevation above the building parapet in CBDs, residential zones, and industrial building rooftops where building height already provides partial coverage.

Structural characteristics:

Roof-mounted pole, roof truss frame, or parapet wall extension bracket

Height: 3m to 15m, minimizing visual impact on building exterior

Mounted on existing building roofs and parapet walls — no land acquisition required

Lightweight design: minimizes additional structural load on existing building slab

Fast installation: 1–2 day site erection without heavy lifting equipment

Finish options: hot-dip galvanized or epoxy paint + polyurethane topcoat for architectural coordination

Key advantages:

No land acquisition, low construction cost, fast deployment

Ideal for urban vertical densification — filling coverage gaps in high-rise zones

Flexible configuration: adapts to varied roof structures and parapet geometries

Architecturally discreet: slim-profile design coordinates with building

Product Highlights

Full In-House CNC Angle Steel Fabrication

Precision for Multi-Tower Programs All angle steel members are cut, punched, and adjusted on Winture's CNC high-speed production lines. Consistent bolt hole patterns and member geometry across all production batches ensure reliable fit-up during site assembly — critical for multi-tower deployment programs where the same tower design is repeated across hundreds of sites.

Tier 1 Raw Materials, 100% Incoming Inspection

All angle steel sourced from Tier 1 certified mills. Chemical composition and mechanical properties verified in Winture's ISO-certified laboratory on every incoming batch. MTC documentation provided with every delivery.

In-House Hot-Dip Galvanizing

99.999% Pure Zinc, ISO 1461 Compliant Two dedicated galvanizing pools using 99.999% pure zinc ingots achieve coating thickness of 90μm to 120μm per ISO 1461. All galvanized products carry a 30-year anti-corrosion warranty, applicable for coastal (C5-M) and industrial (C4) environments. Coating thickness and uniformity are verified by in-house measurement and salt spray testing on every production batch.

Pre-Assembly Factory Inspection

Verified Before Galvanizing Every tower is fully assembled in Winture's factory yard before galvanizing to verify bolt hole alignment and structural fit-up of all connection nodes. Dimensional deviation are corrected at this stage — before galvanizing locks the geometry. This eliminates on-site rework that delays telecom commissioning schedules.

Full-Cycle Quality Assurance

IQC to OQC Every tower component passes Winture's four-stage PDCA quality loop: IQC (raw material verification) → IPQC (dimensional checks during fabrication) → FQC (final geometry and galvanizing thickness) → OQC (pre-shipment packaging and documentation).

Modular Installation — No On-Site Welding

All structural connections use high-strength bolts per ASTM A394 or EN 14399. No air welding is required on site, reducing skilled labor requirements and enabling installation in remote locations without welding equipment. Modular construction reduces on-site construction time and labor cost by up to 20%

Mark-coded bundles

Every bundle labeled with tower mark, member type, piece number, and installation sequence— matching the erection drawing, enabling direct site deployment without secondary sorting.

Pre-assembled trial section marking

Members verified in trial assembly are stamped with matched assembly marks before disassembly and galvanizing.

Pallet packaging:

Bundled members palletized and stretch-wrapped for container stability.

Container loading

Engineered for 20ft and 40ft standard containers; loading plans provided with each shipment.

09

ISO‑Certified Laboratory

All transmission tower steel undergoes systematic laboratory testing — from incoming angle steel through to finished galvanized members.
Key tests: chemical composition (OES spectrometer), mechanical properties (yield strength, tensile strength, elongation, Charpy impact), coating thickness, adhesion, and salt spray resistance. All tests performed per ISO, ASTM, EN, and IEC standards.
